Important Crop Insurance Dates

Staying ahead of deadlines ensures your coverage stays in place. Here are key dates every producer should know:

March 15 – Sales Closing Deadline
Last day to sign up or adjust crop insurance coverage for the year.


April 29 – Yield Reporting Deadline
Final day to report last year’s crop yields.


July 15 – Acreage Reporting Deadline
Last day to report planted acres for corn, soybeans, and tobacco.


Notice of Loss – Within 45 Days
Any crop loss must be reported within 45 days of occurrence.
